I love when my favorite hobbies- thrifting or antiquing, quilting, and organizing come together in such a delightful way. I found this sweet little bunny while antiquing with my parents and nephew last May, and it’s the perfect home for my rotary cutters. Plus, it’s just so cute!

Do you have an Elphaba fan in your life?

If so, then run to your nearest thrift store and get a set of black curtains. My daughter @b_c_stitchery had the genius idea to make a cape with them for her daughter who is a major @cynthiaerivo and @wickedmovie fan. She sewed the two panels together and ran a wide black grosgrain ribbon through the curtain rod channel. She stitched the ribbon in place to keep it secure. Now she has the best cape to run around and pretend.

Years ago I made, with curtain sheers a bridal outfit for my daughter when she was little. A plastic head band through one panel for the veil and elastic through the other panel for the gown. She loved it!

So, go thrift some curtain panels and make some epic dress up clothes!
