Chain piecing is the best!
Do you chain piece when you’re assembling a quilt? It’s one of my favorite ways to speed up the sewing process and keep everything moving along. If only we could sew as fast as a time-lapse video!

I’m so excited to get started on my Booked for the Holidays quilt using the gorgeous Christmas in Color fabric collection from @artgalleryfabrics! This pattern is perfect for all the book lovers who dream of curling up under a cozy, holiday-themed quilt with a good book on a chilly winter day.
When it comes to cutting fabric, do you cut everything out before you start sewing, or do you work a little at a time?
I usually cut just enough for a few blocks, then sew as I go. I’m always too excited to see the quilt start coming together to wait until everything is cut!
